Role of Physiotherapist
Role of the physiotherapist is to provide appropriate assessment, advice, and intervention for physical difficulties which may occur due to a developmental delay, specific disorder, injury, or degenerative process. The physiotherapist will carry out a comprehensive assessment to establish a child´s baseline functional level and to ascertain whether their performance falls at an appropriate age level and with the quality expected.

Typically physiotherapy treatment areas are:
- Delay in development

How Physiotherapy Can Helps Children with Developmental Needs
Physiotherapy at IndoCARE helps children with autism and other developmental needs who may have problem with:
- Gross motor skills (muscle weakness, postural control, and poor body balance, motor planning and also quality of movement)
- Pre-requisite skills for sports
- Physical fitness & socialization with their peers
We work to develop gross motor skills and sports skills through a physical exercise (Neuro Developmental Treatment, Sensory Integration) and play activity. We are also work collaboratively with Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, Teachers, and Parents to give a holistic approach so we can achieve the functional skills for living and learning goals.
