Screening is an observation process to measure child’s functional skill accordance to the stages of typical development, as a reference to make an intervention program which suits the needs of each child. These process covered 6 domains of developmental milestone, which are: – Gross motor skills – Fine motor skills – Social communication skills – Social and emotional skills – Cognitive skills – Adaptive skillsIndoCARE provides two types of screening process, such as: 1) Screening for IndoCARE placement program. 2) Enrollment screening for regular school. |

Sensory Integration and Praxis Test |
What is Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT)? This test is to help us to understand why some children have difficulty in learning and behaving as we expected. This test can help to measure certain aspects of sensory processing or perception, motor functions, and the child ability to cope with the tangible, two and three dimensional world that is needed in social behavior and academic achievement. Who can benefit from this test? If you find your child is “on the go”, easily distracted, clumsy or a child who has difficulty learning new skills and tasks, such as reading and writing sentences, tying shoes, riding a bike or very scared of Physical Exercise time or children who had been diagnosed with: – Learning difficulty – Behavior issues – ADD / ADHD – High functioning Autism Test Prerequisites SIPT can be applied for children within the age of 4 years – 8 years 11 months who is cooperative and have a good comprehension in language (preferably in English). |
