How Speech Therapy Can Helps Children with Developmental Needs

At IndoCARE, our program is to help children with autism and other developmental needs that have difficulties in communication.

  • Speech; we do oral motor exercise (jaw movement, lip movement, and tongue movement) as supporting factor in a speech.
  • Language; we do exercise in receptive and expressive area (social interaction, reciprocal interaction, social regulation and shared attention, organization in space, choices, time, expectations, transitions, possessions, comfort, solitary play, social play, and communication social skill) as supporting factor in a language.
  • Voice; we do exercise for quality, pitch, and sonority as supporting factor in a voice.
  • Rhythm Fluency; we do exercise to develop rhythm of speech.
  • Oral Feeding Disorders: these include difficulties with drooling, eating and swallowing.
